
Matt Wilkinson is a chef, restaurateur and strategic food & drinks consultant.
Charming and ever-so-modest, Matt was co-founder of the Melbourne institution Pope Joan in Brunswick East and The Pie Shop next door.
These days you’ll find him cooking over flames and playing with spices for his new company Street BBQ, developing a range of seasonings & rubs.
He is the author of three top-selling Mr Wilkinson’s cookbooks. He contributes recipes to Cobram Estate, plus delicious. and Pip magazines. He is frequently asked to MC and speak at events and has made TV appearances on Gardening Australia and The Great Australian Cookbook. You’ll also find him judging grill cooks at the festival of music and BBQ, Meatstock.
